Dumb question re gas and electric meters
Are they the same meter or two separate meters. As I sit here wasting my last vacation day waiting for PSE&G to show up, rob just remembered that we have a meter outside - lo and behold, I looked, and we do. But there is also a PSE&G meter in the basement. Is the one in the basement gas and outside, electric? I'm going to be really pissed if they haven't been reading our meter and I just wasted half a day on them...
Re: Dumb question re gas and electric meters
I've been wondering the same thing. We have one outside and one in the basement. I'm curious to hear the answers. Can you take a cell phone pic of the basement one and compare it to the outside one? I've been meaning to do that as soon as I'm home during daylight hours.
yay for leaving in the dark and getting home in the dark
I'm almost positive there are two different meters - one for gas and one for electric. Unless your house is all electric you have to have one for each because they are obviously different things and each is "counted" differently.
We have two meters, but both are outside.
We had that in our old house.
