Snowmagedon part 4763 - check-in

What are your totals looking like so far?

North DTC = meh.  Hard to say, since they keep plowing and it's drifting but we have maybe 6-7".  I'm disappointed so far.

Re: Snowmagedon part 4763 - check-in

  • I haven't been outside yet, though headed out to shovel soon.  But on my patio table it looked to be over a foot.  I'm in NW Denver.
  • Lone Tree area.

Drifting is making it hard to get a good total but my patio table has at least a foot on it.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • I'd say we have a good 14 inches in North Arvada.  No-one has left the cul de sac!

  • Drifting is bizarre in Parker (Stonegate).  I'm guessing we have 9-10" but it's impossible to tell.  My patio table has NOTHING on it.  Nothing.  It's so weird.  That's usually where I measure our total but it's completely dry.  There is so much snow on my patio (concrete), however, that the chairs' legs are almost completely hidden.  But nothing on top of the table.  Weird.  The other half of my patio has maybe 1" on it - then there's probably a 4' drift right beside it.
  • I shoveled over a foot around 7:30.  It's coming down harder now though.

  • Yeah Jess, DH was just out shoveling (about 8:00 am) and there is already an inch accumulation in the places he shoveled.  I'm going  to try braving taking the kiddos out to build a snowman.

  • close to a foot, I'd say.  Drifts can be higher and it is still coming down pretty heavy.

  • 11-12" in Longmont.

  • our driveway was probably 10" - 12" in Arvada when I shoveled at 7 this morning.  probably another inch since then.

  • NE Thornton... We've got at least a foot and it's still snowing.  Kids are out playing in it now.

  • We shoveled about 10 inches a few hours ago.

  • At least a foot in Lakewood. I just took G out to play in it and I can honestly say that's some of the most easy fun I've had in a looong time.

  • SE Denver - it's up to the bottom part of my knee, maybe 12-14" now? Still coming down.
  • we're in henderson/south brighton and i shoveled over a foot from our driveway (it sucked!!), but we have weird drifts so i'd guess we have about a foot on flat places.
  • I'd say we have a good 2 feet up here.  DH had to go to work this morning, there's no evidence of where his car was or the tire tracks of him going down the drive.  I hope he can get home!!

  • Commerce City/Reunion area - about 8" or so. DH shoveled the driveway and finished about 8:30 but by 10 when V & I went out to play there was some accumulation again. It's still very lightly snowing now.
  • We're in Thornton, and we've got about 15 inches I'm guessing.  I attempted to drive to work 2 hours ago and had to stop and turn around because the roads were horrendous and I watched several cars almost get destroyed by a semi jack-knifing.

  • 5:40 p.m.  in north DTC = 15 inches directly off my patio, which is somewhat sheltered, so I'm guessing more than that in the more open areas, and still coming down pretty good.
  • we busted out the snowblower & did the driveway & sidewalks.  Definitely a solid 15-16 inches here in Aurora with drifts in our driveway pushing 24".  Crazy!
no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!
