if you have a difficult boss

how do you deal with him. ken is having a HARD time wth his boss. i get it because one of the guys i work for is a DOUCHE. but he can't employ the ways i handle my boss to his situation. my boss is the type of guy that WANTS you to yell back at him. show him your not afraid of him. and i've also worked with this guy for 10 years. and i have another senior VP that i work with who sticks up for me or tells him when things aren't appropriate (or backs me up when I yell back at the vp) its not a theory i would suggest to ANYONE but it works in this dynamic

kens boss does not have that same thought. he is just the alpha dog. and ken's only worked there just about a year. and ken wants to continue to do well. he's spoken with the ceo and the conversation went well. but he's still frustrated as hell with his boss.

any pointers i can give him.

ken tends to get short with people when he doesn't like you and he's TRYING to be diplomatic.

Re: if you have a difficult boss

  • YH sounds like me and honestly I tried HARD for 4 years and then I got tot he point where I realized I was miserable and we were fighting all of the time.  Is it possible to go to HR?  I finally did and got moved to a different departmentt.  I feel for him I really do
