First World Problems
These always make me laugh.
1) I got a new phone earlier this week and it doesn't have the same option for a gmail notification sound that my old one did. Now when it beeps, I don't know if it is a text or an email and this drives me nuts.
2) I somehow managed to let the k-cup holder fall into the garbage disposal and break it last night. Keurig (rocks) and is sending one complimentary (1 time only) but it takes 10 business days. I'm bummed about the wait and having to slum with ground coffee. Yes, I'm spoiled.
Re: First World Problems
1) My housekeeper put something I needed last night in away and I had to go through all of the kitchen cabinets to find it.
2) I need to notify IT that my iPhone is jacked, but I don't want to have to move the pictures/video to an alternate location so I can get my phone replaced.
3) I can't find my Nook charger, so I will have to read on my phone during my workout in my free gym at work today. As a result, I will have to click the page turn button more often.
1) I ordered Jimmy Johns for lunch because I was too lazy to make mac and cheese (again). They are so freaky fast that they got here before I had time to put on a bra. (I made him wait while I got "presentable")
2) Similar to Kreeper, I got a new phone this week and it has all different tones, so when my phone makes a noise I have no idea what it means.
3) We took the boys to Sesame Street Live last night. The ATM that we passed on the way was out of order, so we couldn't get cash for parking. We parked on the street at a meter and ended up getting a parking ticket. I'm annoyed that Detroit monitors their meters until 10 pm during the week.
4) They are trimming and cutting down trees right outside of our condo and the noise from the wood chipper is causing me to listen to the Criminal Minds marathon at a ridiculous level. Also, my dog won't STFU and nobody can park in any of the side lots between the buildings, so I had to park WAYYYYY down at the other end of the building and walk like an extra 40 feet to get in my building.
1. I spent all morning chatting at my local coffee shop and now I feel like I don't have enough time to return the too small jacket I bought for DH at Neiman's before I have to get the kids from school.
2. My mom comes tomorrow and her flight time interferes with the yoga class I enjoy on Saturdays.
3. My housekeeper called in sick today. She was here on Monday but I wanted her to do a special 1/2 time touch up before the weekend
Lol, I think this one is my favorite so far! How annoying! LOL
I forgot that buttercream icing requires butter so I have to go back to the grocery store after work.
My work email keeps eating normal emails (aka, putting them in spam) and I never remember to check it. I am now very late getting back to a client and I thought it was them ignoring me!!!
1. My wall charger for my iphone stopped working last night.
2. 2 of the USB ports on my laptop stopped working last night too.
3. I was $150 away from meeting my deductible in December. Now I have to pay $2k+ for a d&c next week. We were planning to switch to a $1k deductible in March, but that won't do us any good now.
4. J has been driving my car some this week and I can't get the seat back to the right spot.
5. We had insulation pumped in on Tuesday and keep finding little bits of white fluff everywhere.
Forgot one.
I just picked up my new pair of glasses today. I'm seriously rethinking my decision. The frames are black on the outside, but hot pink on the inside. I keep focusing on the pink and it is very distracting.
DH went out of town so I have to unload the dishwasher.
I'm staying at my parents this weekend and they don't have DVR. So I'll have to watch what's actually on tv when I turn it on.
I've spent a week trying to come up with what I want to cook/bake to bring to a get together at my sister's tomorrow...my brain just doesn't want to make it all come together...there are going to be about 30 ppl...I need to get a move on.
I feel like I've already seen everything Pinterest has to offer in the Food & Drink category today
Just found out we owe a crap load of money on our taxes. We had planned for everything, but some how jumped a bracket just slightly and it's kick up in the a**
We need a new roof.
My kids put sand in my car. I don't want to clean it.
The sound on my Scramble game is screwed up and it's annoying.
I'm in between my skinny and fat jeans. The fat ones look to saggy and the skinny are a pinch too tight and show off my back fat.
I am giving a presentation on Monday and I haven't started it yet and instead of working on it, I am checking the Nest.
DH is on a very strict diet and I don't want to eat a bunch of crap in front of him, so I have had more than my share of junk food today knowing that I will basically be on is diet this weekend.
We have realized that should we have another child we will lose our guest room that doubles as a place to put all of our crap. We only have one small coat closet in the house and small-ish closets in all of the bedrooms. I guess when we bought the house and there were just 2 of us it seemed fine. Looking at HAR I see that we would need to get a house that costs $80K more than ours in our area and we would still have to upgrade the kitchen and flooring. Ugh. That isn't gonna happen.

Solution: buy some armoires and put them where you need closets. This has worked beautifully for us, to the tune of 2 antique armoires and 2 wooden tall cabinet thingies from target. And then, also, people think you have cool eclectic antiquey taste.
I am having that same cell phone sound issue as keeper. I have to wait 2 months before I can get a new phone. Waaaah.
