I've been waiting for Molly's allergist referral forever. Her blood test was the 6th of January. We waited a week for results before the referral went in, told us it might be a week or 2. Waited 2 weeks and called the pedi. They said they faxed the info again and I should be contacted in1-2 days. Waited another week and I just called the allergist. They have no record of anything, but let me make an appointment and took my info about the referral. Now they can't get her in for another month.
I love our pedi's office so I wonder WTF happened. No other allergists have contacted me and the pedi specifically said she was sending us to this office. I've heard good things about the allergist too so who knows where it went wrong. It's just frustrating when we desperately want Molly off of her super expensive formula.

Being in the same shoes, I understand where you are coming from.
That is very strange that the test took so long. Charlie's was done in 2-3 days. Charlies test all came back normal. So we had to do process of elimination. (They perfer to wait to do the prick test till they are older) He is lactose intolerant, honey intolerant and has a gluten allergy.
Allergies can be very frusterating.
Hopefully this appointment will be well worth the wait, and you will know what you can or can't give Molly!
