anyones LO have bronchitis?
If so, how long did it take the meds to kick in? My DD has had an awful cough and fever all week. After 2 dr visits, she was finally diagnosed with bronchitis. I'm only on day 2 of an antibiotic and the fever seems a bit better but the cough isnt budging. I guess its just going to linger a while? Also, did everyone else in the house catch it? My other DD is now coughing (no fever yet). I really hope my DH and I dont catch it. Thanks!
Re: anyones LO have bronchitis?
My son had it in November. He wound up being allergic to the antibiotic and we had to switch. His fever took 2-3 days to completely go away. As for the cough, he was on a nebulizer 2x a day. It took about a week for the cough to go mostly away but he was still coughing a little at night and in the morning for a good month afterward.
I hope your LO feels better soon.
