Are you callin' me fat?
Re: Fallin
I was hoping you'd post this. LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKS!!! Was this AFTER the lb. weight loss?
Wowza.
Also, moar, MOAR.
Aw. Look how squishy!
That's interesting, Kay. I can't find toddler Ethan in his baby pics at all. It's like two completely different kids.
I think Will was 11+ lbs, right?
I think Ian's features were defined early on.
By that you mean his cuteness features, right Fallin?
Buddha I just looked at your FB pictures of Miles and I still see baby Miles in toddler Miles. That's my Friday night: wine, pizza, potty training book, and interpreting Buddha's FB pictures.
Buddha posting pictures of november's kid?
As I was typing that I was thinking "Is his name really Miles? That doesn't sound right." It's Ethan Miles, now I know. I'm going to have another glass of wine.
This post inspired me to do a side by side comparison. I see baby Connor in big kid Connor.
I know, me too! I love that kid so much.
I see it in Connor too. I did a side-by-side of Ian:
Day of birth, not so much, but by 10-11 days old, I start to see features that I can still see. KB was telling me the other night that she is starting to look more like me, and looking back, I agree. She started off much more like my husband, but now there's more of me in there.

By 6 months, she's a chunky version of today's toddler.

Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
I don't feel like baby Will or toddler Will look much like preschool Will.

I don't feel like baby and toddler Evie look much alike either. Maybe someone switched my kids in the middle of the night.
I think baby Evie looks like baby Will though, so probably not.
I totally see the progression in all your kids, but not in mine. I also don't think either kid looks like me or Lorne though, and everyone says that Will's a carbon copy of Lorne and Evie looks just like me. Maybe my brain is broken.
Oh, and Will was 11 lbs 5 oz. Porker.
I have nothing to add except this was James 1 year ago today:
I think James looks exactly the same. And I could spot baby Will out of a big cheeked baby line up. Mucho's eyes are freaking amazing! I don't really see the Ian or Conner ones as much, but I do a little.
I don't think Em looks the same as her first couple of days as she did at a couple of weeks and older.
Coming Home from the hospital-
Em now-

Oops, guess I got a little carried away. I still see newborn Sean in today's Sean.

I actually see more of him in his newborn photos than months 1-2. He was so (comparatively) skinny!
Today at music class some other mom (of a 3 year old, no less) tried to guide him in some way that he resisted. She exclaimed "holy crap, he's strong!" Yeah, there's some musckles under those rolls.

I love this post.
Peony, you need to share more often.
