Washing Onesies?

I'm supposed to be hosting a baby shower tomorrow, and we got onesies to decorate for new mama.  I'm thinking I should I wash them tonight before we decorate them? What do you think?

Re: Washing Onesies?

  • I would, and skip any softener, so what ever you use to decorate will take better. Sizing in the fabric needs to be washed out.

  • Eh. . . I re-washed everything we got, even hand me down stuff that I knew was clean. I wanted to make sure everything was washed in "free & clear" type detergent, so just did a ton of laundry. If the decorations can be washed, I wouldn't wash them.
