Treat question

I started making Tyson's treats and have found some recipes I want to try out. Right now the ones I make have only egg, brown rice flour, and pumpkin. I have seen recipes that use whole wheat flour, baking soda or powder, or brews yeast. I know these are safe for dogs but are they good for them? I avoid anything with corn because I know it's not great for dogs.

Thanks!

Re: Treat question

  • Well, my dogs are a little sensitive to grain, so I avoid it all together, but even before I figured that out, I generally try to limit such grain heavy treats. I use tiny bit of fruits, veggies or cheese (because I'm a vegetarian and that's what I have in the house) and when I remember to get it, I give them meat. Or some mix of these things with plain yogurt or pumpkin, frozen in a kong.

So I guess I didn't really answer your question
