I just spent about 4 and half hours....
...putting a desk, swivel chair and rocker chair together in my guest bedroom. I've turn it from an empty room in to my own little special room...I have a place to read and sew and a desk to do all kind of things at.
I even finally found a place in the house where it seems just right to hang photos of my dad

Right? I have my favorite blanket over the back of it and I can't wait to curl up with some tea, my blanket and either a good book or my sewing....heaven!
I saw the pics on fb. It's so cute!
We think alike. Our guest bedroom has a bed in it, but it also has a corner desk filled with my craft/scrapbooking/glass-cutting supplies.
I definitely want a place for guests to sleep, but at the same time, I want the room to be my place. I figure I'll be good if I get a sofa bed and put it in here...then two people can crash here and I'll have an extra couch without sacrificing a home office for that somewhat rare occasion I have company.
