Does anybody watch this? Oh who am I kidding, I think everyone has seen at least one episode! It makes me feel itchy. And it makes my H go on a cleaning spree. It just really amazes me how people can get that way. Then again, I see my mom slowly heading that way. Hopefully she never gets that bad!
Re: Hoarders
Yes, I've seen it, and it upsets me. I just can't understand how people get that attached to things, especially when the rest of their family suffers as a result. My grandfather on my dad's side is a hoarder. He currently owns 3 houses full of things, and each time it gets too bad to live in, he buys another house and moves. He's also in complete financial ruin because of this. It's sad...
ETA: I hope your mom doesn't get that bad too!
I'm sorry to hear you lost your brother. ((hugs))
Yeah, the hoarding situation can be really hard, but I'm glad she generally keeps it clean! Most don't.
it is the most disgusting stuff i've ever seen. i hate clutter and don't understand why people need things they don't use..
also, i don't understand how hoarding leads to their bathrooms being so digusting... that just doesn't make sense. where do they use the restroom and shower? that and the bugs is usually the most disgusting thing.. unless they hoard animals. if they hoard animals, i want to junk punch them. that is not ok.. those poor animals.
