ruby soho

How did the pear juice do? Did L have some quality evacuation? Mr. E is still straining and producing his crazy green poops, so we're going to try some juice today but I wanted to see if it's working for you. :)

Re: ruby soho

  • Yup it worked! She had one oz on Thursday afternoon and one oz on Friday morning and pooped late Friday morning. It was a doozie too, lol. I think I used 25 wipes.
  • molly had "formula poops" too, the harder type poops.  Our ped suggested prune juice, and it worked for Molly.  Once Mr E is around 6 months you can add cereal and mix it with prune juice.

Molly also was on the gentle ease formula, we had the best luck with similac, even though we tried the target brand.  It could also be a phase, a sign that his digestive system is maturing...

After 2 years of IF, and moving forward with adoption we were thrilled to discover we were pregnant with no intervention in 2009. Miss Molly joined our family in February 2010 and we could not be more in love with our little angel. Lilypie Second Birthday tickers blog www.grumpysnickles.com
  • i should also say my pedi said you are aiming for peanut butter type consistency. I've never looked at PB the same since that day.  have you talked to your pediatrician yet?  they tend not to recomend prune or pear juice until the kiddos are 4 months old because of their weakened immune system so I'd clear it with them first.

Now that I thinka bout it we started on similac gentle (or whatever it is called) and ended up going to good start.  good start has pro biotics in it and her digestive system really liked having those in it...they break down the proteins more and that helped with constipation

  • A little prune juice mixed in Coop's bottles went a long way when he was witty birth and backed up. Kept things nice and soft and comfy for him on his gentle ease. Our pedi had us using it from the time he was like a month old. Dr Sissy says any of the "p" fruits work just as well.
