H and I just started trying and I'm having a lot of pains in my lower abdomen. I'm not trying to make myself believe this is my uterus stretching and that I am pregnant but I'm looking for advice.
It started a few days ago which would have been 5-6 DPO and hasn't really stopped. Its not sharp pains but its pretty steady. It keeps switching sides (which rules out my appendix being infected which was what I first thought it was). It could be a UTI but the pain is not sharp which is what it was last time I had one. Like I said, I don't think it really is pregnancy but I'm just curious for those that have been pregnant if they had pain in their lower abdomen very early on. I did take a HPT last night but it was negative and too early anyways as its just been 7-8DPO now. I have no other symptoms of either pregnancy or UTI or anything else webmd suggested.
If anyone has any advice or thoughts I'd greatly appreciate it!
Re: Those who have been pregnant ... a question
The first time I was pregnant I had very mild, non-painful cramps starting around 8DPO, but that pregnancy ended in m/c so I don't know if that would happen in a normal pregnancy or not (not trying to scare you, just that I don't know if what I had was a normal pregnancy symptom).
Are you charting/using OPKs? If you're assuming you have a typical 28-day cycle and ovulate on day 14, that's not necessarily the case, so unless you're sure of when you ovulated, you could just be ovulating late and experiencing ovulation pain.

honestly, pg was a bit asymptomatic for me, unless you count implantation bleeding with DD. I had some cramping but I normally do off the pill before my period and around ovulation. Your body can also just be readjusting to being off BC too so be patient. GL!
ETA: will warn you that once I did get a BFP, man, around 5 weeks I bloated like nobody's business and busted into maternity pants. At 9 wks, a CW told me it was good I told him because he could tell already.

MH and I have been TTC for the last few months. I've had bad abdominal pain about 4-10 DPO, but I attribute that to constipation from the PNV I'm taking with all the iron in it bc I've never PG.
GL to you! I hope you get a BFP!
