Who else Isn't watching the Super Bowl?

Now that they've shown a lot of the commercials ahead of time I have little interest in watching. My poor kids are clueless too. They were asking why there were so many football balloons at the grocery store. Lol  I am interested in watching Madonna at halftime though.

Re: Who else Isn't watching the Super Bowl?

  • No parties or interest here either.
  • I'm actually going out to dinner with an old friend, so I'm not watching! LOL!

  •  I loathe football. My husband is French. One of the reasons I was very interested in dating him was because he hates American sports, lol.

No football here. We will hopefully go to the supermarket when everyone is getting wasted and yelling at their tvs. Or eating too much. LOL.

No thanks, I don't need child porn or Tweets from this site---thanks for the memories nesties---RIP, Franco---2004--2012.
  • I will not be watching. Cora nuses a lot in the evening/before bed and then when I get her to sleep I go to bed since I assume I'll be up around 2 am. I wouldn't mind seeing the half time show.

  • I would like to, but it's not really going to work out for me. It would have been my dad's bday & my mom arranged a 5:50 memorial mass for him, so while MH goes to watch the game at his parents' house, I'll be taking DS to my mom's for an early dinner, then to mass, then home to give DS his bath & put him to bed for 7.

I'll prob flip back & forth b/w the game & whatever else is on the dvr that I need to catch up on!

  • I will be attending a Super Bowl party but will most likey watch very little of the game, half-time or commercials.  We are bringing the kids with us so that limits what I can do...LOL  I do not mind though, I only go to these parties for the AWESOME FOOD!
  • No parties, no ridiculously fattening food, and no interest in football, commercials or Madonna whatsoever. I've never watched a Super Bowl ever and thankfully have a husband that doesn't give a shiit about it either.
  • No interest in it, and as far as I know we're not going to any parties.. If MH gets invited I'll probably just let him go and I'll stay home with N.. I'd rather watch Dora than football.

  • Nope. MH might even though he's not that interested in football. And if he does I will scrapbook and/or get to bed early.
  • We have no plans to watch, not football fans. I've never been invited to a Superbowl Party and have once in a while tuned in to commercials and halftime, but I find football worse than watching paint dry on an interest level, so I don't watch.

  • Minimal interest. I start my new job on Monday so need to focus on that tomorrow night. Rob will definitely be watching and I'll pop in and out,I'm sure, but I'm looking forward to eating a light meal to avoid the Monday morning bloat and going to bed early!

  • Yea I have not seen the commercial yet so I might flip it on here or there. And after the comment Madonna made about the rehearsals and the actual stage I would love to watch to see her screw up and fall. ( not trying to be mean) but if you know your actual stage is smaller than your rehearsal space shouldn't you plan your dance to that size space?

  • I'm so jealous.  Mh and his brothers are football jocks and today is like a religious holiday in this family.  I'm here making cupcakes to bring over bil's house, annoyed.
