What is everyone doing for the game tomorrow?

We were having two other couples coming over and they both just cancelled :(

I am kind of bummed.  I have my whole menu planned and even have the pork marinating in the fridge.  I know Ryan still wants all my snacks, but I have SO MUCH food.

Hoping everyone else has better plans ;)

Re: What is everyone doing for the game tomorrow?

  • The family I used to nanny for may or may not be coming over tomorrow, depending on whether one of the twins is still vomiting at that point...

I'm honestly kind of hoping they cancel, just because I don't really want to get the nasty stomach bug that's going around.

  • No plans to speak of. We don't have cable, or an antenna for our TV, so if it doesn't stream, we don't watch it at home. And with a baby, sports bars probably aren't the places to be. So... we'll fiddle around and take someone up on their last-minute invitation, if one arrives. Otherwise, we'll just watch all the commercials on Hulu. :)

That is why our couples cancelled, at least 1 of each spouse has a stomach bug

  • I'm sure we'll have it on, but both DH and I reeeeallllllly hate the patriots so we're not really excited about watching. I bought beer & we'll probably get a pizza or Chinese. Nothing super exciting. I'm all about the commercials this year.

Yeah, you def don't want to get that precious baby to a sports bar ;)

  • I don't care about football, so I'll be returning some things to the library and exchanging some shoes at the mall.

  • We're going to a friend's house, they always have a huge party. I'm excited about the yummy food they'll have but I don't really like big gtg like those. DH really wants to go so we're going. I wish we were hanging out at home with another couple or two and the kids.

  • I'm not even planning on watching it.  I keep forgetting it's on tomorrow.
  • DH has to work. We are headed to my folks to party it up abd my sissy and I are planning on quilting during the game.

  • Sucks that they canceled, but good that they don't want to pass the flu along to you!

I don't want to go anywhere tomorrow, as I don't really want to watch the game or be social, but we are going to BIL's house and it will be good to spend time with him and Cousin-in-law.

FYI, it is streaming for free for the first time, http://snfallaccess.nbcsports.com/

  • DH always has to work the game, including pre and post.  Unfortunately this year they decided that instead of working from home he is the only one on his team who has to go into the office since he is the most knowledgeable and able to fix any problems quickly.  I'll probably watch and eat a couple snacks while I get some work done.
  • I'll probably turn it on while I'm cooking.  Got lots of baking to do today!
  • We just set up an antenna yesterday, and DH invited a CW over. I'll be making mass quantities of hot wings at some point today.

  • Since we're home for the day and already having a pajama party, N and I will watch it, but really it's just going though the motions and I want to see the commercials.  I just made a bacon-jalapeno-cheddar dip and some fresh guacamole.
  • We got a perfect invite to watch with another couple with a girl Coop's age right in our hood. I was so excited to eat some football food and hang with others in a Coop-friendly environment. But Cooper and I both have runny noses so off went Todd to the gathering while we keep our funk at home. I did order wings for me, but I dint ever watch the game, football is all about food, friends, and adult beverages for Keri. So I am bumming. :(
