Can we discuss ranger panties?
I always blush when I see a man walking around in ranger panties. I also have a hard time talking to DH when he is wearing them. He's kind of a beefy dude with huge thighs and I can't stop giggling when he is talking to me with only ranger panties on. But the point of all this; we have new neighbors. It's a married couple. The other day I came home and the husband was in the front yard gardening, except I had no idea it was the H. He ONLY had ranger panties on and was full on bent over weeding. I thought is was a girl with booty shorts on with her butt in the air like that. I have a really hard time making eye contact with him now. I mean, I practically saw the man naked. Bwahaha. Is this normal for men to do yard work in their "panties"? This is all new to me. Oh, hiiii. I guess this is my intro post too. We're at Bragg (NC). My husband has been in the Army for 11 years and we went to high school together, but only recently reconnected back in our home town and got married almost a year ago.

Probably goes without saying, but use Google image search carefully with this one.
I asked DH about these and he says that yes, he has seen them and every time he thinks "Well, it's a good day to be an Airman!" I thought those swishy PT pants were annoying. Yowza.
"Ranger Panties" are not the standard Army PT shorts. They really are barely more than what a normal pair of panties would cover. I've owned swimsuits that would have covered me up more in that region than these things do.
I saw them all the time when we lived at Bragg, but usually only on someone who was out running. I'd agree with a PP - I don't think I could keep a straight face if someone was doing just normal everyday things in them. I can understand they might be helpful when running, but they really are barely decent for public wear.
Really, you think these are "barely more than what a normal pair of panties would cover"? Really? What kind of underwear and swimsuits are you wearing? (Don't have to answer that haha).
They're just like normal soffe shorts, just a little bit shorter than what we're used to seeing on guys.
I don't think they're THAT bad guys hah. They're super comfortable and great to workout in. They don't chafe and don't give you wedgies haha. I
When I've seen them worn, they bottom edge looks to hit where leg meets abdomen, and butt cheeks are sometimes visible. So, yeah, I'd say they are barely more than a pair of panties. There's a reason they have the name they do. The first time I saw them, before I knew what they were, I was trying to figure out why there were guys out running in their underwear...
Hi KC! And yes, exactly this. He even came over one time with them on. I mean, he isn't ugly either so I had such a hard time trying not to picture his balls on our couch. I was crying from laughing when I was telling DH how hard it was to talk to him and the neighbor with a straight face. DH is such a jerk too and actually told the neighbor I said all of this, so now the neighbor mentions it. Yes, I am 12 on the inside.
I wouldn't really think twice if I saw them on a woman. It's only when I see a man wearing them that I do a double take
I knew what you meant. I don't think they're that bad, and I don't see penises in them when people are running, so I guess they don't bother me that much.
Kristen, taking scuba/ swimming/ water haze with USAFA boys in these gross shorts was still really ridiculous. Almost as bad as the girls without the discretion to SHAVE when they wore the issued USAFA women's suits (yuck)
Ha! I can only imagine how much better the shorts look when they're wet. And ew, the bikini area should always be shaved when in swimsuits; I don't care if you live in Colorado. It's common decency people.
I feel bad that you had to experience that.
Dude, it was bad. You definitely knew the size of all the boys, without trying to look. I can't believe OP and others have seen men willingly wearing anything similar/worse. Maybe the offending neighbor in question lost a bet?
I despise the PT shorts. *shudder* I wish we could wear Ranger panties. Man they're comfy.
Yeah, who ever made our PT shorts was obviously not a runner and obviously doesn't have thighs that rub together. I can't walk three steps with out my crotch eating my shorts. I HATE them. I cant stand the sound they make, too.
The stupid net things don't help either. And the sizes are clearly made for men. The medium is tight on my butt but goes down to my knees. Guess you can't win them all.
Everything is made for men. That's why the crotch on my ACU's goes halfway to my knees. Forget having to wear body armor.
Man I love Ranger panties. I dated a very attractive ranger who wore his ALL the TIME.
And ladies mentioning all the ranger panties at Ft. Bragg... Thank you for giving me one more reason to want to be stationed there.
I have never heard of them so had to do a google image search. This was one of the first responses
FTR, they don't look that bad from the pics I saw. But I also grew up in a beach town seeing Europeans in speedos. It takes a lot to shock me.
HAHA! I witnessed the old lady next door choke on her morning coffee while watching J splitting fire wood in his in our back yard.
