Ziva didn't get the memo
She is 5 days post op from her knee surgery and has times of walking around fine!! This also means she's trying to play with her sister, esp tug as that's their favorite game. I took the tug rope away and they looked at me like I'm a jerk (oh well) and are being good now.
*sigh* here starts the hard part of the recovery for us I think. I'm starting to appreciate that DH INSISTED that we teach them to stop rough housing on just a verbal command in preparation for the baby.

Yup, it was a success! My dog was off pain meds five days post op and was ready to play! It makes me so happy when dogs feel better!

On the other hand...YAY Ziva! SO happy you are feeling good!
That being said, just remember that just b/c you (she) feel good, doesn't mean you shouldn't still take it slow. Its sooooo hard to hold them back, but believe me, its worth it! Totally necessary!
&, two thumbs, or paws up, on the on the rough housing command! That be awesome alone even w/o the baby factor!
