Spoilery S2 Downton Abbey Thread anyone?

I'm thinking we might want to talk about each episode like we have with other TV shows. So what do we all think so far of S2 through tonight's new episode on PBS (ep 5)? I have lots of thoughts, of course. I was thinking if anyone wondered what DH's original infected pressure sore looked like that he got 7 years ago (when we were engaged/I was on the Knot) it looked very much like Matthew's wound when Clarkson was examining him. It was a different kind of wound, but still I gasped when I saw that because of the similarities. So much of the Mary/Matthew/Lavinia stuff in the last 2 episodes have been similar to what we've gone through. I think we do feel like we've been through a war together.

Oh and a PSA: Michelle Dockery (Mary) will be on the View tomorrow (Thu) at 11 AM Eastern with Viola Davis from the Help. MD will also be on Letterman tomorrow evening. Allen Leach (Branson) will be doing a live chat on PBS's Masterpiece website Mon at 1PM Eastern. Hugh Bonneville (Robert) and Laura Carmichael (Edith) have already done them and you can read the transcripts: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/downtonabbey/season2_chat.html

Yes, I am your Downton oracle. Wink
