Re: Really Funny
Im sorry I can't answer, there's an octopus in the way!
Haha this is hilarious! I wish I had the guts to write some of that stuff in school.
I think this says as much about the teachers as the students. For example, 'Tell me a risk you have taken,' with the answer, 'This,' is clever and clearly understands the question. This teacher gets it. I think some other teachers would say, 'Dear Mom, please talk with your student about best behavior at school,' and totally miss the intelligence and creativity in these answers as valid and something to be developed, not stunted.
Oh, yeah, and it's hilarious. The bear one is my favorite.
Those are so funny, thanks for sharing! I keep waking my sick H up from his nap by laughing so hard!
I love the snow shovel selling mom the best!
Agreed! Bottom of page 5 for anyone interested!
I'm not a teacher, although it's one of those 'mid-life crisis' career possibilities for me. I do volunteer with a high school mock trial team. My full-time job is in educational publishing; I'm a commissioning editor.
But I think I have a soft spot in my heart for the smart ass kids and those who think outside of the box, and I wish that the system could encourage them more. They are often the visionaries, artists and innovators who, if cultivated, really can make the world a better (and different) place.
