Speech therapists - my two cents
My daughter is taking speech once a week and I am now convinced you have to be a special breed of crazy to teach speech to kids!! Hats off to all of you out there!
My daughter loves all the hoopla and the funny phrases and voices that the therapist makes. But I don't know how the therapist can keep it up all day at this pace.

haha thanks!! :-) we're definitely crazy!! I work as a speech therapist in a school, and its definitely exhausting trying to find ways to get 10 year old boys to repeat 50-100 "R" words. especially if he's been getting speech since kindergarten, and is just "over it"!!
BUT i honestly love my job, love helping kids with the most basic need (communication), and when they finally "get" it- it makes all the exhaustion worth it! :-)
