Apparently I stumbled on the secret to making antlers awesome
They must sit outside in the elements for a period of time and then get rediscovered before they are considered the favorite. So now I have antlers hidden around my front yard lol

Re: Apparently I stumbled on the secret to making antlers awesome
Mine are really picky about which ones they like. I take them to the store and have them pick out their own now. I still have a bunch of "junk antlers" that I picked out and they don't like. One was taken outside and just recently brought back in. They go to town on it now though!
They don't get a two hoots about the other one. Grrr!
We've bought several antlers and Rudy likes them for about 10 seconds!
But the other day when we were hiking Rudy found a huge deer antler. She was sooooo excited and when I was carrying it home she about had a nervous breakdown because I couldn't let her have it yet.
My husband sawed all the points off and gave it to Rudy....she LOVED that thing for about 3 hours that night. I was so excited and thought it would last forever. The next day, absolutely no interest in it. Frustrating.
