I thought in general there were pretty bad, too many car and movie commercials

I liked the VW one with Vader, but I'm a sucker for SW.
The Clint Eastwood one was great.
I missed the H&M one - I'll have to look it up.
Loved the M&Ms ones - that cracked me up. Also, the Doritos one where the grandma slingshots the baby was funny, Cooper laughed at that one.
Oh, and the Betty White one.
Most of them were just ok. I'd seen the Audi one last week sometime.
Overall, I thought they sucked. The Doritos one with the dog was probably the funniest one. The Ronald McDonald House ad was the coolest one. But overall this was the most disappointing ad year that I can remember. If they have another year like this, I am just going to start DVR'ing the game and fast forwarding through the commercials.
The game, however, was great. I could care less about either team, but they kept it close and played good football.

I actually just found myself thinking "Why does David Beckham have so many tatoos?"
My favorites:
The Volkswagon Dog commercial. Hilarious!
The Doritos Dog/Cat - "You didn't see nuthin' " commercial
I did find the Cling Eastwood one memorable, but didn't think it was all that great if they were trying to sell cars.
Other than those, I thought most were pretty unmemorable. The e-Trade one was terrible.
Ditto. I also like the John Stamos one.
And the best was Weego! The Budlight commercial with the rescue dog.
If you are on facebook please "like" the video on the budlight page. They donate $1 for every like (up to $250k) to The Animal Rescue Foundation.
I was a huge fan of the Sketchers commercial but I think only someone who gave a crap that Meb placed first in the US Olympic marathon trial wearing a pair of Sketchers after being dropped by Nike would even care.
For face value, I liked the Doritos, M&M's, and Betty White.
I don't think these are just about selling cars, but about selling the city of Detroit. And things that are "made in America." I went to Detroit last year for work and this guy from the CVB spoke about changes to the city - he mentioned the Eminem ad from last year and how it was sponsored by the car companies, but more about changing the attitude people had toward the city & the car companies, especially after the whole government bail out thing.
Also, I did like the BL "Weego" commercial. And the Bud ones at the bars that moved through time.
