f/u on eyeshadow

i'm wearing eyeshadow today and i don't feel like i look like a hoar!!!!!!!!! win!

i watched youtube videos and it kinda confirmed what i already knew but gave me a few tips..

i'm gonna keep trying and hope that practice makes progress!

i used this pinky/gold color on my eyes, then i used purple in the crease.. followed by another purple color in crease. i blended, then used a liquid eyeliner.. followed with some plum eyeshadow and a little black and smudged the liner. pulled some of the purples under my eye along the lash line.. added a highlight under my brow and in the corners. added mascara and some liner on my waterline and voila!

Love! You found a very neutral look and it just enhances and brightens your eyes, which are naturally really gorgeous. That's definitely what shadow is supposed to do. Not remotely hoar-esque, I think you nailed it

i was going for subtle but a little more 'put together' and i think it works. we'll try something more fun tomorrow.. maybe a brighter purple and see how it goes. i want to go and get one of those palettes you girls were talking about. i'll look this weekend. i need to shop for work clothes and such.

I've always wondered that about ladies who do the full makeup routine every day. XD I need my sleep!!

Sarack -- you look FANTASTIC. Seriously, that is some fabulous work -- it's nicely enhancing while still being subtle. Very, very pretty!

lol, it took me like 10mins tops.. for my entire face. makeup never takes me a long time.. maybe 15 mins because applying mascara takes forever.. i feel like it never gets all my lashes so i have to go over them a million times.

jenn- plus if i wanna look cute, i wake up a few minutes earlier. I went to work 2 days last week and the entire weekend with no makeup! I was proud.. and i think my face needed the rest!

I love the way it looks! I typically do my make up this way too but with different shades.
