Any Tampa area beach hotel recs?
We are thinking of going to FL and do a couple of days at disney and a couple at the beach. We would like something right on the beach front in the Tampa area. Thanks!

just know Tampa doesn't have a beach... it's more inland - Clearwater/St. Petersburg is the closest beach to the Tampa area. Sorry i can't rec any hotels- i lived in Tampa and never needed a hotel.
Busch Gardens (in Tampa) is AWESOME - a great mix of an awesome zoo + amusement park. My family actually liked it better than Disney when they came down and did both in one week.
In Clearwater, try Sand Key - there is a Sheraton that we stayed at 4 years ago that is beautiful and has a great beach. Also, within driving distance to sights in Tampa.

There is also a Marriott on Sand Key but I've had no experience with that hotel.
