This is interesting to me, b/c I'm a 36, but I'm a fairly small person and everyone else my size (and even larger) are 34.  I've lived here my whole life  -is the theory that we have to have larger lungs living at high altitude?

I heard this when I was wedding dress shopping, and also from a researcher I know who studies altitude sickness.  I think it is true, but I don't know of any specific study looking at it.

I have a larger band size because I'm fat. I don't think the altitude has anything to do with it.

That's my understanding...but, I'm not a scientist

There is nothing big about my bra size but I've only lived here 8 1/2 years.  

I've also been told by a dr that my lungs might not be large enough for my body as I can't pass an asthma test but don't have asthma.
