Anyone have a metal swingset?

I know its only February but TRU is starting to put swing ads on display and I'd really like to get 1. I dont have a lot of space and was thinking of just a simple metal one. If u have one, has it held up ok? Any recommendations? Thanks

Re: Anyone have a metal swingset?

  • we have a metal one.  we got it from toys r us 2 years ago.  it has held up surprisingly well.  it is really great condition - no rust marks, etc.  reading some of the reviews sometimes makes you weary.  people complain about everything.  we wanted something inexpensive and not overwhelming.  it was $130, i think.  i believe it was the kingston brand - similar to this one:

except ours doesn't have the 2 person swing where they face each other.  i think ours had 2 swings and then a trapeeze type bar.  i can't remember because we took that down and i bought a bucket swing online since DS was too small at the time for a regular swing.

DS is almost 4 now and still really likes the set.
