New to pets
Hello all. I have spent some time lurking and thought I would introduce myself.
I'm nic. New to the nest and pets too. We just got married in September and bought our first home last week. Our landlord would not allow us to adopt a dog, while renting. I'm hoping to find a dog soon and take him home. Petfinder has too many adorable faces to decide between. When I lived with my parents we had a lab, a golden, and a Rottie. Not all at once but after each one had passed. I'm really excited but can't decide on a breed.

Originally I was thinking about labs. I had one when I was a child and she was awesome, despite her continuous running away. She was my dad's dog when he was a kid and lived until I was 5.
We went looking at a shelter and fell in love with a hound/lab mix but our closing was pushed back and he was subsquently adopted.
I adore a lab/mastiff I found on petfinder. Going to see if I can start an adoption process with him.
