I'm looking for an all inclusive that I can bring my 5 year old to...My fear is that she'll be bored, not want to play on the beach and want to be entertained...My aunt keeps bugging me to take her to Disney..but I want a VACATION not a trip to Disney, I feel like I'll be stressed out if we go there...
So, if you did do Disney, for a family of four, how much was it (if you don't mind my asking)? I'm thinking 4 days... we would have to fly, so if you could include your flight price, I'd really appreciate it. This is for April.
Should I use a Travel Agent?
THis is stressing me out already...
Re: Disney World?
We went last year Easter week bc that was our spring break. We did 6 days 5nights, stayed at Pop Century, did the meal plan with one sit down and did 6 day park hopppers and with airfare from Newark to Orlando thurs (before eatser) to tues cost us $3400 for 3 of us.
Next time I would do one less day on teh park pass bc we definitely could have done a full pool day.
Boardwalk is amazing you could stay at the resort all day, tons of kids activities and access to Disney Parks. Drinks, great restaurants. It was great
we're going in march - family of 5 - with flights and hotel (value resort on property... plus free meal plan deal) it's costing us about 5K total... we'll be there 5 nights... the twins are under 3 so their tickets to the park are free - and we got park hopper passes for everyone else, for 4 days.
the Disney resort in Vero Beach looks AMAZING - a friend of mine was just there and posted pics daily on FB and I was so jealous... it has some Disney characters, activities for the kids, etc - but still a resort feel on the beach.
have you never been to Disney with her? If not- i'd take her to Disney now... much older and a lot of the magic is gone.
It really depend on when you go! You can get entire disney trip at a good price if you go at non peak time. I just helped my friend book her trip for in May for 6 days for 2 adult and 2 kids (one doesn't cost anything because she is infant) it was moderate resort with deluxe dining and park tickets (with park hopper) and flight(did not book this part with disney went with Air Tran) for 2800.
We have gone to Disney many time and always enjoy our trip, we make sure we make some time to just relax by the pool too!
I think that you can do things in Disney at every budget. I would try to go through a travel agent to find the cheapest deals. They have so many hotel options and packages that you should be able to get a deal. Not sure about flights, I would just avoid traveling at holiday times, it's most expensive then.
We go every March, but we do things a bit differently. We don't do meal plans, we stay at the Floridian and our flights are pretty expensive. I'm a bit of a Disney crazy person- I go a tad overboard. We didn't do the meal plan, mainly because we did too many sit down meals so it wasn't worth it (we tried it once.)
We also like to do a park in the morning, go back to the hotel, swim, and then head back to a park later on.
