I have a Sansa Clipp for the kids at school to use. They listen to audio books on it. The problem is that there are no pictures and to navigate around it is kind of hard for them. I have 2 kids that are the "sansa experts" and they're constantly helping the others. Does anyone know of a super cheap ($30-ish) mp3 player that I can load pictures onto? I want the kids to be able to choose the story they read by looking at pictures of the cover. If they find a book in the basket right now they may never actually find it on the Sansa. I'd like them to have more choice in what they read, as my books on cd (converted to mp3) collection is getting pretty big.
Or any other good (read: cheap) ideas? This is all coming out of my pocket so I don't want to spend too awful much!
thanks
Re: help me find an el cheapo iPod type thing
It's kind of like kick starter it sounds. I hadn't thought about that. Not a bad idea. I'm just impatient and want a new one yesterday! :-) I just had a sweet little guy say to me, "Mrs. Mosier, this book looks awesome!" and I told him it was and that he could listen to it at the listen station when it was his turn. He said, "I always want to but it never comes up so I just listen to the other books." Totally went straight to my heart. Dang kids.
