how long did your dc have to have speech therapy to catch up to where they should be
sorry for another speech therapy question, but I'm just wondering. My 22 month old tested 33% below in speech. For some reason the speech pathologist did not discuss how long and how often the therapy sessions will be needed. So I'm just wondering for those out there who already gone through it. How many month did it take of speech therapies for your kid to catch up to talking at their age level.

gray started around 20 months... he was 25% and 25% in receptive and expressive.
now- about a year later - he is right on track with receptive (he was just tested the past 2 weeks). he's still below level on expressive, but he's RIGHT on the line... I'm actually worried he might not qualify for our town's early help preschool --- he might score too high - but hopefully not b/c he for still needs help still. We take him to speech privatly - was 2x's a week but right now only 1x/week b/c we're OOP again until we meet the deduct with insurance, and we can't afford $250/week.
