Cable/internet

What do you pay for cable & internet...and which provider do you use?

We do not need phone service, as it's free for life through ooma.

TIA!

Re: Cable/internet

  • Comcast.  $80/months for cable & internet.  But we have basic cable (we don't have the DVR stuff).  DH made his own DVR a long time ago.

  • We use comcast/ xfinity....

We have high speed internet, cable and phone through them, Im not sure how much we spend exactly on each but I know it is a lot (more than what pp have said!)... and we really need to figure out  what channels we really actually watch!! I do like the high speed internet though :)

You said in another post you cannot get Uverse.   Go out on their website, check to see if in your area.  When it comes back that it's not there is an option for them to research, etc on when you will get it.    Uverse was all around me and I didn't have it.  I did that request and within a month, voila, they said my area now had it and I could get signed up!

    Worth the try!!!

I just have to wait for my Direct TV contract to run out at the end of July before I move over... if I am not moved to a new place by then!

  • I use Directv and ATT DSL (doesn't require a phone line through them) for internet.  I don't need super fast internet, so it works fine for my needs.  I think I pay around $95 for both, and I have a couple of extra channels on the cable.

Shameless part - If you want a referral to get the $10 off thing, let me know Wink
