hello

I've been occasionally posting if I can help but for the most part I've been just lurking. Things have gotten so busy with the house, insurance, work, apartment, dogs, etc and I haven't really have much good news.

Since sept I've had to move out of my house, lost my aunt, was sick all during christmas, and had both of our cars break down on the same day. This little black cloud has been rather persistant but hopefully it will move along soon.

But Jack and Poe are doing wonderfully with their new chaotic life. I don't have the same space as I do at home but they are adjusting to less play time. They still wrestle everyday and the few times I've been able to compete they have preformed like rock stars. Poe was the solid experienced dog on her team during her one flyball tournament since the storm (which is funny because she's a total spaz). I've been giving her more off leash play time with the team dogs and she has been doing so well! Jackson is awesome like usual. He put up some career highs at the end of the season and already qualified for the 2012 World Finals in one event.

So we keep putting our head down and trudging along but I'm sure things will start picking up soon. And hopefully we'll be in our nice fixed up home by april/may.

And a few pics:

Jackson is happy, we finally got him a temporary dog bed...a pink one that says princess. We got it for Poe but Jackson took one look at it and hasn't let her use it since. I'm proud to raise a boy that is so confident in his manhood (well...in the metaphorical sense seeing as he not longer has all the parts). Here he is snuggling with his new crab toy and pouting over the fact that we would no longer throw it for the 1000th time.

Someone was very happy to see Santa this year! (which is funny because last year he was really freaked out by Santa)

  • :( That stinks.  Any idea how much longer you'll be out of the house???  Hang in there, that same black cloud found me too but I'm determined to show it whose boss.

Probably April/May. We have to be out of the temp apartment in April which sucks :( So a total of 8-9 months.
