Re: Talk me off the ledge!
That is adorable! But expensive, wowza.
I bought an expensive dress, matching hat, shoes, jacket- the works for E's 1st Easter. Boy oh boy was dh not happy, but it is my money to spend (as long as bills, etc are paid) so if you can afford it, go for it.
Okay, I'll try to talk you off - dont do it. There is no way she'll be able to wear that thing more than a handful of times. If she's anything like Audrey (which I think is normal?) she'll grow out of swimsuits SO quickly..... now, that swimsuit that Nancy posted last summer? That was also to die for but wasnt it cheap, Nancy? I think it was the Gap on sale.. maybe I'm making that up.
But dang, I love it. It reminds me of Rachel McAdam's in The Notebook!
It is super cute, for sure, but I wouldn't buy it. Last year, I think Alissa had something like 5 swimsuits in rotation. Having a pool at our apartment, and then going swimming multiple times a week at Kids Club.... Plus, with so much use, the little bottoms got worn out real quick.

Thanks ladies! I also feel bad because I know if I show it to my MIL she'd buy it today.. Shes in love with that store but i always talk her out of spending that $$$ on her. H doesn't need a $$$ swimsuit.
Well now...that is something entirely different! I'd totally show it to the MIL if I thought she might buy it.

Yeah, I ended up getting Amelie's for $15 or so with shipping. Maybe $20?? I don't remember, but I used some codes and worked my way around until it was more reasonable.
Also - if you buy something expensive you can always resell at Twice as Nice. That's how I see splurges. That's why I decided it was ok to spend more than $10 on Amelie's swimsuit.
$42 is awfully steep for a baby swim suit though. Why so much?
