bringing up bebe- the today show

Anyone see this?  I thought it was interesting.  My SIL is French and I think most of it was over generalized but some of the things like how a lot of the French kids are more adventurous with food was interesting because my niece and nephew are good in restaurants and are more adventurous with eating lol.  I love how the one kid was like mmmmmm camembert!

  • I just watched it on the website... I don't know! It sounded good but then most people I know are not French and teach their kids to say hello and goodbye and please and thank you. The fact that all French children supposedly sleep through the night from 2 months old on was interesting. I want to know more about that, lol.  I did like how he was eating the camembert, cute kids. For some reason, it annoyed me that she was wearing a beret in all of the interviews.

The beret was annoying me too lol.  The STTN thing is probably true.  I found with my older child that if I let her fuss for 10 minutes (not scream but fuss) she would fall back to sleep on her own and learned how to soothe herself.  I am trying the same with my baby but she usually winds up crying so I go to her.  Yeah I definitely teach my kids hello and goodbye and please and thank you!
