Denver dance clubs?

A group of gal pals and I were chatting recently about how much we used to LOVE to go out dancing but haven't been in years.

Hence a plan was hatched.... A girls night out to go dancing.

The problem?  It's been so long that no one knows anything about the Denver club scene any more.

Suggestions or recommendations on a fun place to go dance our buttttts off?

Oh... and if you want a good giggle DH suggested Polly Esthers and was stunned when I told him that not only was it closed but I thought it probably closed around 10 years ago.

Man... we're old.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

Re: Denver dance clubs?

  • Suite 200.  It's where the old IBeam used to be (how's that for dating myself) - it's up the stairs above Rioja.

  • I don't know what kind of dancing you're looking for, but I love the Mercury Cafe for swing dancing!

Just so you don't feel quite so old.  The knottie batchelorette party went to Poly Esters.  That was about 6 years ago.

  • Suite 200 or Chloe are the newer, fancier dance spots. I also like Lavish or Mint.
  • Yeah, I was going to say Polly Esthers was still open in 2006.

Now it's Blake Street Tavern. They moved from a few blocks down.

  • I like Crocs to dance on Friday and Saturday nights. It isn't so much a club as a bar with a dance floor, so I don't feel like I am way older than the rest of the people there.

  • Rock Bar might be ghetto but it's so much fun!
