Tuesday Randoms

I have a client who is actually MAD at me for leaving.  Not sad, not upset, straight up angry.  WTF.

I stopped at My Favorite Muffin for breakfast because I left my english muffin sitting on the counter when I left for work this morning.  I bought both a double berry muffin and a peach muffin.  I ate the double berry, and now my tummy feels weird.  Makes me sad, because now I don't want to eat the other one Sad

Last night during group, I thought it was Wednesday.  Both my coworker and clients had to remind me that it was still only Monday.  FML.

Re: Tuesday Randoms

  • When I went to the store last night with Phoenix, this guy stopped to help me get her into the cart (unnecessarily, I might add). He then asked where the father was. What was really awkward is I made him repeat it three times because he kept mumbling it and I couldn't understand him.  I don't know if that was his way of hitting on me, if he was trying to see if I'd be an easy target, if he was just trying to make conversation, I don't know, but it creeped me out. Where's the dad...really...who asks that?
  • My boss has asked up to prepare a list of active files we're each working on.... the last time they asked this of us, things were slowing down and there were layoffs the following week.  f u c k.

  • Thanks to Mary, I had a craving for Popeyes that could only be satiated by wicked chicken. So, I drove across town to get some for lunch. Totally, completely, 100% worth the trip.

ETA because I hit post before I was done:

My sister and I can't agree on a theme for Ellie and Sayre's birthday party. So? I am thinking the theme will be "birthday party".

I think that is an excellent theme Wink In the interest of discussion what theme do you want and what theme does your sister want?

  • I'm really glad I brought the rest of my cheesecake to work so I don't have to be tempted by it.  That said?  Meyer lemon cheesecake= crack.  So, so good.

I'm really frustrated 7 days into my new job.  That's not a good sign.

We wanted a Yo Gabba Gabba theme, but my sister does not let her kids watch tv, so they don't want to do that. I also suggested a Dr. Seuss theme but she said that was too hard. She has not given me any alternate suggestions.

  • If I could, I would eat icecream with (or in place of...) every meal of the day.

The baby is making my dog depressed and it's really bumming me out. He did great until last week and no he's so mopey and anxious. I feel so bad! Our vet is OOT until the 20th though, so all we can do in the meantime is try to cheer him up.

OMG Dr. Seuss is not too hard! They can be Birthday Thing 1 and Birthday Thing 2! Other than that you can just make it very colorful and you could turn just about any food into Dr. Suess food. Plus there are those adorable Thing 1 and Thing 2 cupcakes floating around on Pinterest. Tell her she cray cray lol

  • Happy: My article is top of site right now! If you know my company's website, you should go there, and see my article in all it's glory. :)

Bleh: After 16 months of not-not TTC, we decided to go see a specialist. My period starts next week, which means an HSG soon. Bump (and even Niner) stories have left me very much not excited for this. :(

I'm sorry to hear that.  Just know, you'll be okay.  Take some Advil beforehand and have pads on hand for after.  Do you have a specialist you like?

We went to Shady Grove, and they seem nice. I'll probably have them do it because they have 7 female doctors, and I'm really obsessive about that. Plus they said it's usually better to have a gyno do it instead of a radiologist. Do you have an opinion on that?

Yeah, I've never had a radiologist do it.  Just 2 Gyns.  I obsessively love mine, so she did it the second time and it was much better than my first one.
