Unemployed... again.
I can't begin to tell you how many jobs DH and I have been through since 2007. DH was a HS teacher and went through 3 different environmental science companies. I've been a Special Ed TA, a Special Ed Teacher, did anything and EVERYTHING at a community center and lastly, I've been a nanny... until this morning. When I had Baby H, my hours were cut in half because the mother's were cut. She was told last night that her position is being cut so I'm out of a job yet again. I'm trying to think positively about this but we just signed an 18 month lease for a new apartment and we are moving in 2 weeks. Last time DH was laid off, we had just discovered I was pregnant. Really?!?! I feel like screaming, "WHO WANTS TO HIRE ME?!?!" Vent over. Thanks

Ugh that totally stinks.
Can you file for unemployment? Does this family know of anyone else you may be able to nanny for? Could you get in touch with some old contacts from previous jobs?
