Does anyone have a recommendation for a salon that does first haircuts? I found some old forums recommending Ponytails and Buzzcuts, but they have closed.
Re: First Haircut
I highly recommend Family Fun Cutz on 144th and Center (it's in the strip mall by BagNSave). My nieces have been going there for awhile (since their "first haircut) and my brother said it's great! They can be pretty iffy in situations like that and both are totally content there. They have cool things for them to sit on, they can watch DVD's, and I think all hair cuts come with either glitter spray or a little streak of color just for fun if they want it...

We've taken Audrey to Family Fun Kutz a few times, too (including her first). I like it because there is kids crap everywhere to distract/entertain them, but I also think their haircuts can be a bit.. ehh...
I've started trimming Audrey's at home, but I know that most dont feel comfortable doing it. I almost butched her up good a few weeks ago but I ended up salvaging it into a super cute tapered bob. Thank god. It was a scary few minutes.
