Taxes??

Do we have a Nestie that helps prepare taxes or any recs for someone that comes out to your house and does them? Would like to sit down with someone who could help us go through things especially my expenses from Scentsy and see what they can come up with. DH usually does ours but I'm sure we are missing out on getting some credits and deductions.

I'll piggy back on this and ask for any tax recommendations, even if they don't come to your house.  We've always gotten a few thousand back, and this year it looks like we are going to owe a lot.  We want to have things looked over to make sure we have it done right before we write them a fat check.

We use Ray Tourek 391-3939 with Weist Tourek & Hower, CPA PC. He has done our taxes for the past two years. He was recommended to me by my boss and we are quite happy with his services. Last year we met him on a Saturday at his office, but this year we just scanned our forms and emailed him. Totally painless process, I am happy to say. He charged $155 for the return (we itemize, so I think it would be cheaper for someone who doesn't).

Also, I have to say, that the piece of mind that came with using a professional (versus a seasonal H&R Block person) was priceless.

I worked for Mark Kennedy for 2 years doing taxes (I'd help you but I'm not a CPA and just use turbotax to do mine now). He is very nice and a family friend. Does my parents and they have a ton of rental properties. 345-1233. He's off 36 and Dodge.
