Fund Raiser
We have a person who is in our volunteer group who has a very rare cancer. At this point we are not sure what his insurance is covering after his 6 hour long surgery today.
So tonight (while he is in the hospital) some of us at our meeting were talking about what we can do if his insurance doesn't cover everything.
So I was wondering what fund raisers have worked for you or do you have ideas I can propose?

I am sorry to hear about your friend. Hopefully his insurance covers a good majority of his cost.
Some ideas I had would be like a bake sale or a craft sale. Umm even like a masdsive "garage" rumage sale. You would be surprised how much you could make from one of those especially if you have signage as to what the money is going towards. HTH
