I just called my mom to joke with her about my snow day and I'm so glad I did.  She answered the phone crying saying she can't breath and can't see out of either of her eyes.  She lives 3 hours away so I can't get up there.  I called my next door neighbor at home and he's going over until my dad can get home and take her to the hospital.  I finally got ahold of my dad at work and he's on his way home as well.  I'm freaking out a little bit and hate that I'm not close enough to go make sure she's ok.  Any thoughts you could spare her way would be appreciated..thanks

My dad just called-he's home finally so I feel a little better.  He said shes laying on the floor but he can't move her because everytime he does she blacks out.  He's called her doctor so he's waiting to see what he says.  Thank you for the thoughts and prayers...I just hate not livign closer when things like this happen.

I don't want to alarm you, but based on your follow up, I would recommend your dad call an ambulance. It sounds like she needs to be seen ASAP.

This. I would just get her to an ER. 

 I'm sorry you can't be with her - I know how crappy it feels to be far away from family and can't do anything.

I didn't see your follow-up until now. PLEASE, if you haven't already done so, have your dad call 911 immediately. This is incredibly serious and time is wasting. She needs medical attention!
