I'm always interested in this, given the vast variety of D.C. workplaces, commutes, etc., so:
What time do you typically leave your house in the morning?
What time do you usually get to work?
What time do you typically leave work at the end of the day?
What time do you usually get home?
Feel free to add any other relevant/interesting info!
Re: QOTD: Wednesday
My commute is usually 45 minutes, a little longer when I pick up C from daycare afterwards.
Leave: 6:15ish (painful)
Work: 7ish
Leave work: 4:30
Get home: 5:15-5:30, depending on daycare pick up
ETA: I have a compressed schedule, so my work day is a little longer.
What time do you typically leave your house in the morning? 8ish to drop DD off at daycare
What time do you usually get to work? between 8:30-8:40
What time do you typically leave work at the end of the day? 4:30-4:45
What time do you usually get home? 5pm-ish
What time do you typically leave your house in the morning? goal - 6:45, reality - 7:10
What time do you usually get to work? goal - 7:45, reality - 8:10
What time do you typically leave work at the end of the day? 4:15
What time do you usually get home? 6:00 on average
Feel free to add any other relevant/interesting info! Longer commute in the evening since I do daycare pick-up. I hate hate hate my commute. It drives me absolutely bonkers that it takes me an hour to travel rougly 13 miles. I take Metro because I get Transit Benefits, but I'm sure it would be the same travel time if I drove due to crazy rush hour in this area.
What time do you typically leave your house in the morning? i shoot for 8:15 but often leave closer to 8:30
What time do you usually get to work? 8:45-9ish
What time do you typically leave work at the end of the day? 5:00
What time do you usually get home? if i don't stop at the store, by 5:30
except when it's pouring rain, i love this commute.Typically leave: 7:45 (we've actually been really good at leaving on time lately!)
Get to work: a little before 8:00, my commute is generally less than 10 minutes
Leave work: 4:30, unless there's a late meeting (HATE)
Get home: if I leave right at 4:30, I go get DS and I'm usually home by 5:00. If I go to the gym, I leave my building around 5:20 and get home by 5:45 after picking up DS. Complicating matters is that sometimes I'll leave work, get DS, then pick DH up at the metro. But we are generally home no later than 5:45 regardless.
My schedule before DS was way different--I worked a compressed schedule so I was there from 8:30-6:00 and then had every other Friday off. It was nice to sleep in so late and have the day off, but it's just not possible with a kid who goes to bed at 6:30. Maybe someday . . .

I'm pretty lucky in that I live a block and half from a metro station and the train lets out right at my work; this means I get about 50 minutes a day of reading/podcasting in.
I'll answer for when we lived there. I didn't have a typical 9-to-5 job, though.

This was for Palisades to Ballston. When we were in Rockville, it was a lot longer, obviously, especially on Monday & Wednesday. When we lived out there, I actually left at 4pm those days, because saying until 5 made the commute ridiculous. What time do you typically leave your house in the morning? 8:40

I used to walk to work and my commute was about 10 minutes, but H owned a house and I owned a co-op, so it made more sense to sell my place when we moved in together. I still miss that apartment and that commute.
I leave at 7:50, 6:50 if I'm starting early. I get to work between 8:40 and 8:50, or 7:40 and 7:50. It sounds like a long commute, but goes quickly in my opinion. That whole time counts my short walk to the shuttle bus, mile commute to the metro, and metro ride in.
I leave work at 5, or 4 if I started early. When I leave at 5 I get home around 6:05, and when I leave at 4, I get home around 4:50 (I get home quicker when I leave early due to my shuttle bus schedule- I only have to wait 5 minutes for it vs. the 20ish minutes when I leave at 5).

I feel like I have a pretty easy schedule and commute even with daycare pick-up and drop off.
Leave: 8:30 a.m.
Arrive: 9:00 a.m.
Leave 5:15 p.m.
Arrive 5:55 p.m.
I have two daycare pick-ups on the way home so that explains the extra 10 minutes. If I didn't have any daycare drop-offs pick-ups, it takes me 15 minutes.
Around 7.
Between 8 and 8:30
Between 4 and 5, depending on meetings and such.
If I leave at 4, I'm hope around 5:15. If I leave closer to 5, it's anytime after 6:30.
