kids birthday party gifts
do you always buy from a brick and mortar store so you can give a gift receipt for exchanges or returns?
we have 4-5 parties in march alone and i thought to order some items off amazon and avoid the stores, but then i realized that some parents might love returning....do you ever consider that when purchasing a party gift?

I'm not sure we got any gift receipts from G's party last year.
I buy when it's most convenient for me. That is often online.
They can return on Amazon without you even knowing. So you can make them a "gift receipt" -- i.e. a note saying it was purchased from Amazon and the order number. BUT i think they see your entire order if they return it that way.
ETA: We got gift receipts for < half the gifts. Of course we didn't get them on the things we already had. Doh.
I tend to do stores because I always like to get gift receipts. I did figure out that you can do it for amazon though so if I know it is someone who would do that then I get it from amazon with the info so they can return it. I usually make sure that at least one of the things had a gift receipt if it is a few little things.
