Bad dreams = messed up head for the day

I had two dreams last night that I remember.  In the first one, I was in an airport on a layover, but I kept seeing my dad a little ways down the concourse or on the escalator.  When I'd run to go find him, he'd be gone.  At one point I was standing right next to a railing and he was on the escalator going right past me.  He smiled at me and said "Hi, honey", but when I ran to the escalator platform to talk to him, he was gone again.

In the next dream, I had lost Duff and couldn't find him anywhere.  The people I was with kept saying we had to go, but I was frantic and said I wouldn't leave without him.  They somehow made me, but I don't remember how.

Both dreams made me gasp and wake up.  Both dreams really messed with my head.  I don't want to be at work today, and I can't really think straight.  I think it took me a full 1/2 hour to shower this morning, and 15 minutes of that was just staring at the water.

There's no real point to this post; I think I just needed to get out of my head for a minute and look objectively at the situation.  Breathe.  Work on what's in front of me.  Have some coffee.  Repeat.
