i am so sorry that you had to see that. i am so incredibly thankful that i don't know where the photo boards are, and that i didn't hear about any of this until after the pictures were removed...i just can't imagine...i just don't want to imagine.
and i hope to God that they catch the person that did this!
So what is removing your pics going to do? These were actual porn pics. Not like they took nest kids heads and photoshopped them on to naked bodies. I feel like something happens every 6 mo or something where people get paranoid, put their stuff on lockdown then forget about it when they take a new cute pic of their kid's.
Its awful but we dont live in a bubble. There are anonymous sickos and sickos down the street that know what our kids look like.
i know they weren't nest kids photoshopped, but it shows that there are perverts looking at our boards, looking at the pictures of our kids, they uploaded pictures of child pornography onto a community picture area where hundreds of pictures of regular nestie kids are. i removed the picture of my kids because i don't want perverts seeing my kids - i guess until now, i didn't think the nest would be a target for pediphiles (stupid, i know) i'm not worried whoever it was will find my house or anything, just that it makes me sick to my stomach that these types of people look at pictures of small children and are attracted to them, think of them in a sexual way.
This is news to me! I definitely understand where Erica is coming from, even though I doubt I will remove photos. I can see how that kind of disgust (a pedophile stalking these boards) would cause someone to remove photos of their kids!
...Glad I didn't actually 'see' these disgusting photos...but it does make me sick that there are children out there in danger, regardless of where the photo came from (whether a nestie or otherwise)
Were they able to trace the account to the pedophile that posted the photos? I am assuming not but you never know...

this is why i removed the picture from my signature. i know there are freaks all over who see my child when i am out with him, at the supermarket, in the mall, etc. but that cant be helped, we dont live in a bubble and im not going to never leave my house bc someone might look at my kid funny.
but i dont like the idea of someone being able to save a picture of him to do god knows what with... i know that it wasnt a nestie's kid in those photos, but the potential is still there.
it made me feel better to remove his picture. i feel sad about it, because of course everyone loves to share cute pictures of their kids (and i love seeing pictures of everyones kids!) but like i said, it made me feel better.
