so after putting off our kitchen remodel twice due to life events that required some significant capital investments, I am happy to report that we're going to be starting work ASAP!!!  Our tax refund hit the bank today and it should more than cover our electrical upgrade as well as the remaining materials left to buy (not many!  Countertop and sheetrock basically).  

This has been a long time in coming and I can not wait to get started!!!  I'm also thrilled because the cabinets that have been flat packed in our garage since we bought them 2 years ago will come out and we can park in there again!! wahoo!  I'm not sure which I'm more excited about - having a dishwasher or being able to park in my garage.

So exciting!  Congratulations!  I feel you on the dishwasher.  Two years ago when we moved in here I didn't think hand washing was that big of a deal.  Now that we're getting close to moving and having one again, that's one of the most exciting pieces for me.  *ha!*

I'll totally post pics when we get this project moving along.  Just had our electrician here to re-bid the project since it has been a while.  Hopefully, the number comes in where we need it to!  I can't imagine that he'd be above our tax return but stranger things have happened.
