so my husband is Army and we are having our first baby in sept, but  his getting out in july. Im wondering if we will still have Tricare or not and also if we have to have the baby near a Army Post if we do get to keep Tricare?

I believe Tricare coverage stops when the SM gets out. Also change your username. You shouldn't use your email, there are a ton of creepos out there.

I have a friend that was able to stay covered for 3 months after her H/xH was kicked out of the AF. Their case was a cluster so I don't know if that is the norm. Does your base have a clinic? If so, they should have a tricare rep there other wise I would call their coverage line. I've had great luck getting my questions answered by calling.

$2400/quarter is still cheaper than labor and delivery in a hospital, so it sounds like it's worth discussing with a Tricare rep.  Good luck!
