Moms of kids in pampers

So what's the difference between swaddlers and cruisers?  R is in a size 3, and I notice that there are sized 3 swaddlers and sized 3 cruisers, and they both show the same lb. range. I like how the swaddlers have a stripe that turns blue when they are wet, and she doesn't leak in them so I'm not itching to switch (even though it can be harder to find swaddlers in size 3 when I need to pick up a quick pack).

What made you switch to cruisers, if you have?

Re: Moms of kids in pampers

  • We switched to Baby Dry when DD was in size 2's and I chose them over Cruisers because they don't have the Dry Max as far as I know. But I really don't know the difference other than the Baby Dry are marketed as more absorbent and they are cheaper than Cruisers. Maybe you can find a comparison online?

This exactly - I did baby drys because they are cheaper and you get more in a box. I recently tried Cruisers though cause I had to grab a pack one day and they gave DD the worst rash! My thought is the dry max stuff so personally I'd just get baby dry.

I believe that Dry Max also have the same "dry max" component - I *think that is what the pampers rep said over on TB.

Coop rocks the baby dry because of price, they work great for us.

  • Thanks, guys - we've just been keeping her in the same type she was wearing when she came home from the hospital, but sounds like there's a better bargain to be had when we're ready to change it up.
  • We also used Baby Dry because they are pretty cheap and they were pretty absorbant.  We tried the cruisers once because there was a good sale on them and I HATED them and was sooo happy to get back to the baby dry.  DS is fully potty trained now and I'm happy not having to buy anymore diapers!
  • We switched from swaddlers to cruisers and IMO they aren't as soft and aren't as puffy (that's the best way I can describe it).  They still work great for us though.
