Home and resting, but what a nightmare.
I had my d&c this morning at 7:30. All went well and I was ready to leave around 10am. I'm Rh-, so that meant I had to have shot of Rhogam before being discharged. It took the St. Luke's blood bank over 2 hours to send over the shot, and then they sent it to the wrong place. It took another hour for it to be tracked down and finally reach me. The staff at the outpatient surgery were wonderful and very apologetic, but it was a mess. I think I ate every package of crackers they had, while waiting for that shot.
Oh well, it's over. I am just glad to be home and able to rest in my own bed.
Re: Home and resting, but what a nightmare.
I'm sorry you had to go through more crap on top of an already bad situation. ((hugs)) T&P for some peace and rest for you.
I'm sorry it was worse than it had to be. Hugs
Many, many hugs and prayers for you.
I'm with the other ladies who suggested food ~ would you be open to the Nesties setting up a Care Calendar for you? What part of town are you in? I'm happy to coordinate one. It's really easy and then you'd have meals for a week or so!
We're really okay, but thank you for the offer. We were blessed that DH's company gave him the week off to take care of me. Between J and my parents popping in all the time, we've got it covered. Hopefully I'll be back on my feet soon. Mentally, I already feel better not having to deal with the uncertainty of waiting. Hopefully things will just continue to improve.
