We are planning a last minute road trip next weekend. It's a 13 hour drive and we are thinking it will be bet to do it over night. We are visiting family and staying at their house. Any tips for car travel with a toddler?
Re: Any tips on car travel?
We never drive over night, so I'm not sure how much of this will apply to you. But this is what works for us.
DVD player. Have a cooler handy with a few sippies filled and ready to go so you can just hand them to her. Also, have snacks already divided out into baggies or snack traps, whatever you are comfortable with her having, so you can just grab one and hand it back to her. I usually get DD out of the car and walk a few laps around the convenience store with her while DH gets gas. Also, the magna doodle was a huge hit. And of course, favorite toys, books, etc.
